This work of art is a collage of watercolor painted live oak trees, with areas of the watercolor paper which hold the collaged trees also painted to add to the completed appearance. This watercolor painting is based on creating sections of live oak trees that I have photographed over several trips to the areas around Charleston SC. I have been creating a series of works of art that use the live oak as subject matter, some with acrylic paints on canvasses and others using watercolor paints of watercolor paper. The original painting is available, along with excellent quality giclee prints, on my Etsy store site: www.etsy.com/shop/joanncullipART. or you may contact me using this website should you prefer that method.
