Light Filtered Thru The Woods_72dpi

My painting of this wooded area was inspired by the way that many hardwood trees located in the midst of the any pines often have an abundance of leaves that-albeit in massive groups-still permit light to filter through their leaves and let sunlight reach the ground.  I chose to abstractedly represent leaves using circular shapes and designs  versus create the traditional leaf shapes associated with hardwood trees.    I hope that the playful colors and designs keep a sense of happiness and fun for all that view the painting.  This completed acrylic painting is part of the series that has evolved from my series of paintings of the woods that grew from a painted paddle.  If you are interested in purchasing this original painting-or an archival quality Giclee reproduction on canvas-please go to my ETSY Shop at JoannCullipART.  (cap J, Cap C, all three letters in art are Capitalized as well).   https://www.etsy.com/shop/JoannCullipART.   It is also possible to discuss my having an artist proof created to a size that better fits your individual space needs.  I hope you enjoy viewing the painting as much as I enjoyed creating it.  The painting is now on display at the MAIN BRANCH art gallery in Grayling, MI.   Thank you for spending time to explore my artwork through this website.
