"Pastel Pictured Rocks" is a paintings created from a segment of the Pictured Rocks shoreline. This area is appropriately named "Pictured Rocks" due to the amazing colors seen within the cliff walls of this region. One seems copper, brown, beiges, and turquoise streaks in the midst of paler greys and whites. In the summer months a 'forest' of trees is atop of this towering cliff wall; waterfalls can also be found as you sail along for approximately 2 hours to view this natural marvel. This painting is of just one section among many photos that I have taken on multiple visits to see this cliffs. I used more nonobjective colors within this painting than I used in the other similar subject paintings. You may contact either on this site or go to my ETSY store at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/JoannCullipART. I have both the original painting or a giclee of it available for purchase.
