Original watercolor with frame. shipping not included $350.00 USD
The watercolor painting "Sunny Delight Fringed Tulips" was created from viewing some of the amazing flowers grown and displayed in the Kukenhof Gardens near Amersterdam. I have always delighted in seeing these early flowers of spring, but having moved to northern MI it is harder to grow them due to the fondness squirrels have for flower bulbs. I decided to use washes for much of the background as I enjoy the contrast between details within the tulips and the negative space surrounding foliage and flowers. The original painting as well as giclee images are both available; you may contact me on this site OR go to my ETSY store located at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/JoannCullipART.
