"Wavy Floral Embrace" was a more nonobjective way of portraying flowers with foliage; I decided to let the foliage create a pattern around the flowers versus draw them in a more realistic approach. I enjoyed using nonobjective colors within the foliage and background areas to enhance the effect of a pattern. The flowers are stylized representations of poppies. Florals are always such a joy to see in both nature and in interior settings; I hope this painting also provides a sense of unexpected beauty. The original painting as well as giclee images can be purchased; please contact me through this website OR consider going to my ETSY store located at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/JoannCullipART
